Peggy Cook Vernon

Peggy Cook Vernon, 83, of Conway, passed away June 9, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Eunice (Hunnicutt) Adams.

Although she grew up in North Little Rock, she spent the last part of her life in Conway. She enjoyed fishing on the lake, as Lake Conway was her backyard. She had a green thumb and was known for her beautiful flower beds. In her spare time, she loved to shop and was always up for a trip to any flea market.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Bettie Cook and stepson Clint Vernon (Sarah) ; granddaughter Samantha Jones (Logan), Kyle, Kinsey, and Kacelyn Vernon; great-grandson Brody Jones; as well as extended family.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Vernon and sister Pat Cross. 

Peggy will be remembered for the bling in her outfits and for her "sassy" ways. She was one of a kind and will forever be missed.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, June 13, 2026, followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM. at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at AR Memorial Gardens.
