Penny Lee Garver, a cherished soul known for her unwavering faith and warm personality, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on July15, 2024. She was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Born on August 21, 1941, in El Dorado, AR, Penny's journey was one of compassion and dedication. Education was paramount to Penny, as she pursued her dreams at St. Vincent to become a registered X-Ray Tech. This achievement was a testament to her lifelong pursuit of knowledge and growth.

She embarked on a fulfilling career as a founding employee of the Benton Family Clinic, where she diligently served as a medical assistant alongside every doctor who graced the halls of the clinic. Her commitment to helping others and her gentle touch brought comfort to numerous patients over the years.

Penny's love extended beyond her professional endeavors; she was a devoted wife, mother, Granny, and friend. Her nurturing spirit shined brightly in every role she undertook. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it be spending time with family or tending to her beloved flower garden.

In addition to her illustrious career and educational accomplishments, Penny enjoyed various hobbies such as fishing, working in the yard and garden, and traveling alongside her husband. These activities brought her immense joy and allowed her to appreciate the beauty of nature that surrounded her.

Penny Garver's legacy lives on through those she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Edwin Prince, Sr. and Chloe Graves Weaver, son, John Garver, and brother, Phillip Prince, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Stanley; daughter, Lori Rose (David); 4 grandchildren, Andy (Valarie), Heather, Dustin, and Tori (Drew); 7 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Benton, Self Hall, 211 S Market St, Benton, AR to honor the remarkable life of Penny Lee Garver.

In our hearts forevermore, Penny's memory will continue to inspire us all with its grace and love. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was dearly cherished by all who knew her.
