Persis Lynn Frazier

Listen to Obituary

Persis "Lynn" Frazier, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on April 29, 1933, in Berryville, Arkansas, Lynn lived a vibrant life filled with dedication to her career, a deep love for the arts, and an enduring devotion to her family and friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Albert Watson Squires and Persis Mary Squires.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her son, Mark Frazier, and his wife, Terri; her grandson, Brett Frazier, and his wife, Taryn; and her precious great-granddaughter, Rowan Marie. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Squires, as well as a large, loving extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Lynn spent a large and meaningful portion of her career serving as an office coordinator at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Her love for creativity and culture later led her to the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, where she spent many wonderful years as the Office Coordinator, passionately supporting the local arts community.

In her later years, Lynn embraced life with an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel, explore nature through hiking, and was rarely found without a good book in her hands. More than anything, she cherished the time spent with her tight-knit group of lifelong friends from all across Central Arkansas.

Lynn’s warmth, sharp mind, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
