Peter John (Pete) Pilkington ended his journey with us on March 22, 2024 to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (DaddyO), brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. He is preceded in death by his mother (Cecelia Drilling Pilkington) and father (Wayne Warren Pilkington) along with his brothers Bill, Larry, Pat, Jim, and aunts Mary Louise (Gick) Drilling and Rita Porbeck. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Christina (Tina) Deuerling Pilkington, sons Daniel (fiancé Tonya Smith), Adam (Julie Rader), and E. Wade (Krysten) Pilkington along with four grandchildren (Kylie, Ben, Charlotte, and Caroline Pilkington), his siblings Betty (Jerry) Fortner, Don (Kay), Paul (Linda), George (Vicky) and Bob (Mary Lou) Pilkington and sisters/brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pete was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan who loved sports and had several favorite teams he followed and never gave up on. From October 1985 he worked for Choctaw, Inc later Hanson Pipe until August 2008 then with Culverts Plus from January 2009 until January 2018 and finally with Lanter until last July 2023. He never wanted to retire.
He was a 1977 graduate of Catholic High School. We want to especially thank the many people at CARTI who were so supportive and kind along with Dr. Grace Raja, Drs. Vasili and Irina Lindell, and Dr. Blake Jack.

Christian burial will begin at St. Edward’s with visitation at 6:30 pm with rosary to follow, Wednesday, April 3. The funeral mass will be at St. Edward Catholic Church at 10am on Thursday, April 4. Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may he rest in peace.
