Phillip Russell Boston, a beloved husband, father, grandfather "Pop-Pop", brother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Hot Springs. He was born on July 20, 1958, in Garland, Texas.

Phillip attended North Garland High School. He owned and operated Spectrum Printing and Advantage Printing for many years. He also worked for GMAC before retirement.

The things that brought Phillip the most joy were spending time with his wife, playing and listening to music, and attending concerts. He was a phenomenal guitar player. After the birth of his grandchildren, spending time with them became the thing that he enjoyed the most.

Phillip leaves behind his loving wife of 22 years, Brenda Hubbard Boston of Hot Springs; His son, Bryan (Kate) Messersmith of Hot Springs, and his daughter, Melissa (Gary) Diffee of Hot Springs; His grandchildren, Bradyn Messersmith, Matthew, Isaac, Harrison, and Brenna Diffee; His brothers, Neil, along with his daughter, Makayla Boston of Lucas, Texas; and Eric Boston of Wylie, Texas; and his cousin, Rhonda Kaplan Sloan of Dallas, Texas.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margie Boston; His uncle, Ronnie Rogers; His sister-in-law, Terrie Boston, who was the late wife of his brother, Neil; His grandparents, Lloyd and Aleine Rogers; and his grandmother, Pauline Cherichello.

He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, jovial personality, and constant smile. He had a great love of animals, especially dogs. His kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Honorary Pallbearers include Brock Burnham, Gerald Garner, Brock Brackshaw, Danny Forsee, Mark Burkett, and Jim Sleiden.

A celebration of life is planned for January, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Caring Place or Garland County Humane Society.
