Phillip E. "Disco" Disterdick, 61, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. He was born September 29, 1951 in Marion, Ohio. Phil retired in 2011 from Union Pacific after 41 years of Railroad service. Phil loved golf and was a "Competition Barbeque Extraordinaire."
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathie Disterdick, of North Little Rock; sons, Chris Disterdick (Debbie), of Maumelle and Mike Disterdick, of North Little Rock; daughter, Mindi Disterdick, of Bryant; mother, Lillian Disterdick, of Marion, Ohio; sister, Carol Buchanan (Darrell), of Marion, Ohio; grandchildren, Chandler, Emily, Mallory, Savanna, Caleb, Caitlin, Corra and Phoenix and his four legged family members, Lexy, Addy, Hector and Maizy. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Elmer Disterdick.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 or American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
