Phyllis Elaine Eskew

Phyllis Elaine Eskew, age 73, of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 11,2024.

 She was born in Mena, the daughter of Bobby and Emma Gean Seals. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Phyllis married Jim Eskew, on November 11, 1971. She was a member of Athens Free Holiness Church where she served as a church secretary and Sunday school teacher. For many years she worked as a secretary for Wisener Chevrolet and Reggie Jones Chevrolet and as the recorder and treasurer for Glenwood. Most of all, Phyllis loved spending time with her family and enjoying her grandchildren. Phyllis will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by her husband, Jim Eskew of Athens; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Rachelle Eskew of Athens; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Adam Sewell of Keller, Texas; five grandsons, Aiden Thomas, Titus Eskew, Blake Eskew, Colton Eskew, and Jonas Eskew; her brother, Danny Seals of Glenwood, her sister and brother-in-law, Lequieta and Billy Roberts; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Athens Free Holiness Church.

Interment will be held at Athens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aiden Thomas, Titus Eskew, Dalton Lott, Spencer Martin, Therrin Bell, and Michael Arivett.
