Phyllis Noel Fulmer

Phyllis Kratz Fulmer, 89 of Malvern, Arkansas, left this earth on Thursday, August 20, 2026. Phyllis was born November 25, 1936 in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late William and Ruth Kratz. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fulmer. Although she had moved to Houston, Arkansas in her later years, she still considered Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern to be her church home.

Phyllis enjoyed flowers and gardening, as well as crafting for much of her life. She prided herself with sewing doll clothes, making beaded Christmas ornaments and painting things to make them pretty. She could also write an impressive to-do list that never seemed to get finished for special loved ones. She enjoyed being around her family, including her children and their families. Once she moved away from Malvern, she always wanted to go visit her brothers and sisters and drive around to “see how everything looked.”

Phyllis is survived by her children, Donna Mayfield and partner, Kevin Whalen from Ft. Worth, Texas; Vickie Clements and husband, Mark, of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Bill Fulmer and wife, Jennifer, of Houston, Arkansas; brother, Wendell Kratz of Malvern; sister, Rilla Hathcock of Malvern; brother, Frank Kratz and wife, Margie, of Malvern; sister, Debbie Green of Malvern; brother, Douglas Kratz and wife, Diane, of Malvern. Phyllis also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
