Purnie Mae Weeks, age 80, of Austin, Arkansas, was born March 27, 1928, at Cushman, Arkansas, to Edgar and Nettie Weatherford and died August 31, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Purnie is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, James Weeks; a son, Larry Elvis Weeks and wife Lilia of Baltimore, Maryland; two daughters, Patricia Maples and husband Glendale of Ward, and Mirroette Parrish and husband Robert H. Parrish II, of Bankston, Alabama.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2008, at Old Austin Cemetery.
