Sue Clowers, 69 of Benton passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011.
She was born January 19, 1942 in Dell, Arkansas to Edison and Hazel Riggs. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ Church. She was a homemaker and dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her husband, Wendell Clowers of Benton; 1 son Wendell Corin Clowers and wife, Anita of Benton; 2 daughters Gina Larhonda Walker and husband, Fred of Fresno, California and Melinda Suzette Shaw and husband, Lyle of Benton; 1 brother Glen Riggs and wife, Carolynn of Winterpark, Florida; 1 sister Shirley Wooldridge and her husband Winston of Paragould, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren Kriston, Tara, Brian, Amanda, Nicki and Cameron and 1 great-granddaughter Caitlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Peaceful Haven Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Riggs, Bro. Tim Wooldridge and Pastor Jim Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery Steel Bridge Road at Bland Loop Benton, AR 72015 with Dean Wooldridge, Keith Wooldridge, Russell Riggs, Sammy Riggs, Brian Wooldridge, and Kurt Brinkley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be noon until service time, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
