Ralph "Mike" Perrin, age 64, of Bismarck, died Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was born on January 5, 1949 at Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Earl Perrin and Inez C. Holland Perrin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Chuck Perrin. Mike was a U. S. Army veteran serving as a Green Beret with the 82nd Airborne division in Vietnam where he received two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the "HOGS", (a Harley-Davidson owners group) and was Christian in his faith. Mike was a certified scuba diver and an avid bow hunter. He enjoyed martial arts, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, Michael Perrin and his wife, Bridgette, of Delight and Vince Perrin of Nashville; six grandchildren, Jarah Jacks, Jayci Perrin, Abby Perrin, Sloan Perrin, Natalie Perrin and Bryce Perrin; his close friends, Boyd, Bobby and Wade; his nephews; and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Bro. Curtis Abernathy officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jason Perrin, David Perrin, Tim Love, Ronald Love, Joe Bill Morton and Boyd Hicks.
