On the 31st of October the love of my life took his last breath on this old Earth and immediately took his first breath in his forever home with his Lord and Savior.

Ralph David Wright was born to his late father Max B. Wright and Bernice Wright in Little Rock, Arkansas, on 9/9/44. After graduation in ’62 he spent 3 years searching for the perfect job which he found by joining the Little Rock Fire Department on 11/5/65. He worked many different positions at different fire stations and he worked his way up to the rank of Captain. He was part of the group that started the Bomb Squad – giving many family members extra gray hairs!

Ralph is survived by his wife Betty; his daughter, Laura Morford (the pride of his life) and her husband Jay Morford; Laura’s mother, Carolyn Wright; and a sister-in-law, Louise Wright. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael B. Wright; sister-in-law, Janeil Wright, and his parents.

There will be a memorial announcement at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to the Humane Society of Pulaski County or another organization of your choosing.

Services entrusted to Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205).
