Randall "Randy" Marvin Dodson, 66, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2018. He was born March 10, 1952 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Daniel Robert and Francis (Baker) Dodson.
Randy was a licensed minister of the gospel and loved to serve and work for the Lord. He was a member of Household of Faith. Randy was a great story-teller and would share his travel adventures to everyone who would listen. His travels took him from Alaska to Arkansas to Florida. Randy loved being outdoors, riding his Harley, fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting.
Preceding Randy in death are his parents; son, Travis Dodson; and two brothers: Douglas and Terry Dodson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of forty-four years, Scarlet (Watson) Dodson of Benton, Arkansas; children: Kenny Bennett and wife Kelli of Benton, Jordan Bales of Juneau, Alaska, Yvonne Dodson of Benton, Stephanie Mogg and partner Michael Rice of Grapevine, Arkansas, and Kimberly Dodson of Benton; two adopted by love kids: Jared miller of Ormond Beach, Florida and Rachael Bourdukofsky and husband George of Anchorage, Alaska; over twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Toby Dobson and wife Carol of Alexander, Arkansas and Daniel L. Dodson and wife Pam of Bauxite, Arkansas; two sisters: Diana Deckard and husband John of Benton and Tammy Garrett of Benton; and a host of family and friends who love Randy and will miss him always.
Celebration of Life service, officiated by Pastor Bob Joyce, will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 27, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas with a time of visitation following.
