Randall "Randy" Joseph Milks

Randall "Randy" Joseph Milks, 69, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on August 19, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Orville Joseph and Virginia Ruth Milks.

Randy worked for 34 years as a machine operator at Parker Hannifin Corp, where he was known for his strong work ethic and the nickname “Shake,” affectionately given to him by his coworkers. He enjoyed camping and fishing, especially competing in bass tournaments with his brother.

He was active in the Boy Scouts during his son Jacob’s childhood, serving as a Den and Troop Leader and sharing his love of the outdoors with many young people.

Randy was known for being stubborn and having incredible willpower. Once he set his mind to something, nothing could stand in his way. His greatest joy, though, was his family. He loved being a husband, father, and especially a proud “Pawpaw” to his three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janis Harvey Milks; his son, Jacob Milks; his grandchildren, Isabelle Milks, Sabrina Milks, and Jasper Zimmerman; his brother, Ronnie (Lisa) Milks; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Katie Ambris.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St, Benton, Arkansas.
