Ray McNeely
Ray McNeely, 90, Master CPO, United States Navy, Retired Pearl Harbor survivor, died April 7, 2013 at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Juanita Boshears McNeely; son, Wayne Ray McNeely (Kay); grandsons, Christopher Ray (Shannon) and Stephen Wayne McNeely; and great grandchildren, Heather McNeely Harris (Dane), C.J. McNeely, Jade and Gabriel McNeely. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel Leon McNeely; parents, John W. McNeely and Lucy Tolley McNeely; sisters, Belle Hunt, Sue Hunt, Lexa Clay, Jewel Hannon, Nora Barber, Hazel Banks and his infant twin brother.
The family wishes to thank all Doctors and Medical Personnel who cared for Ray with skill and compassion while a patient at Veterans Administration Hospital and to Cheri McNeely, a devoted family member.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Martindale Cemetery on Highway 10. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
