Ray Shrum, Jr., 54, of Sherwood passed away Saturday May 10, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Shrum, of Sherwood; daughter, Kimberly Shrum, of Fayetteville; son, Hunter Shrum, of Sherwood; father, Ray Shrum, Sr. of North Little Rock; two brothers, Mike (Amy) Shrum, of Cabot, Robert Shrum, of North Little Rock; two sisters, Nedra (Mike) Fisher and Lynette Shelton, both of North Little Rock; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Lybarger, of North Little Rock and Marilyn Lively, of Springdale; brother-in-law, Mike Higgins; and mother-in-law, Aletha Higgins, both of North Little Rock and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Shrum.
Ray was a 30 year employee of Union Pacific Railroad. He loved spending time with his family and coaching his son?s baseball team. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
