Raymond Doyle Rankin

Raymond Doyle Rankin, sadly passed away on December 10, 2023. Born on July 21, 1927, in Bauxite, AR, he lived a life marked by his quiet demeanor and strong Christian values.

Raymond was known for his kind-hearted nature and his commitment to living a meaningful and purposeful life. He served his country as a clerk typist in the Army during his military service. After retiring from Jucuzzie Brothers, Raymond found peace in gardening and working in the yard.

Those who survive Raymond will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. His sister, Mary Farrow; nephew and niece-in-law, Larry and Tammie Farrow; niece, Gail Crutchfield; and step-son, Bobby Mezzell were all blessed to have had Raymond as a part of their lives. Raymond's impact extended beyond his immediate family. He touched the lives of many friends who will remember him fondly for his genuine kindness and steadfast support. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Beth Rankin; his parents, George Lyle and Annie Marie Bohn Rankin, as well as his brother, Carl Rankin.

Services to honor Raymond's life will take place at Rosemont Cemetery 1010 Military Rd., Benton, AR. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 9:30 - 10:00 AM followed by a Burial service starting at 10:00 AM.

In celebrating Raymond's life, we remember him as a man who embraced the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in everyday moments. He expressed his love for others through his actions and touched the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength that will forever be remembered. May his soul find eternal rest, and may his loved ones find comfort in the memories they shared with him.
