Raymond Thompson
Raymond A. Thompson, 78 of Mabelvale passed away April 4, 2011 in Little Rock; he was born on May 21, 1932 in Plummerville, Arkansas; he was the son of Dennis A. and Alta Mae (Sinclair) Thompson.
Raymond was a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant and a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Raymond enjoyed going camping and playing jokes, he loved his dog "Katie" and his grandkids were the most special part of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles "Chock" Thompson.
Survivors include his son Glenn Dale and his wife Linda Thompson of Maryville, TN; daughters Darlene Shuefelt of Austin, AR; Danette and her husband Richard Spickard of Bauxite, AR; and Amy Dionne of Cabot, AR; eight granddaughters, and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Butler Cemetery near the Vimy Ridge Community.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
