Reba "Beba" Bean Pennington

Reba "Beba" Bean Pennington, age 89, of Amity, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 15, 2025.

She was born on December 19, 1935 to Johnnie "Red" Bean and Roxie Lilly Garner Bean. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. Pennington; her brothers, Grady Bean, Johnnie Bean, Alton Bean, Curt Bean, and Buddy Bean; and her sister, Jean Harding.

Reba was a member of Amity First Baptist Church. She was an entrepreneur and was a woman of many talents. She owned and operated Reba's Cafe in Amity and later owned The Flower Shopp in Glenwood for over 30 years. She was a seamstress, creating many wedding dresses and jockey silks. She was a top notch cook. Reba was a loving wife, mother, "beba," sister, aunt, and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Pennye and Ronnie O'Neal of Langley and Karen and Roger Rogers of Hot Springs; her three grandchildren, Tara O'Neal, Rob Rogers, and Rusty Rogers; her nine great-grandchildren, Aaron Hollingshead, Gabrielle Hoover, Madeline Hollingshead, Kassi Talbot, Case Rogers, Rhett Rogers, Miranda Rogers, Katy Rogers, and Gage Rogers, ten great-great-grandchildren, Anna, Hazel, Emma, Jace, Bella, J.T., Eevi, Liv, Tripp, and Easton; her sister and brother-in-law, Nina and Garry Johns of Amity; her two sister-in-laws, Sue Bean of Mena and Jane Bean of Amity; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Reba's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood with Ronnie O'Neal officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to services on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
