Rebecca (Becky) M. Browder, 63, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away much too soon on May 22nd, 2025 due to complications from a ruptured aneurysm. She was born August 28th, 1961 in Camden, Arkansas to the late John C. White and surviving Linda S. (Boyer) White.
Becky loved life in every conceivable way a person could. Her laugh was loud, distinct, and infectious; her hugs, unmatched. She treasured her family and friends, her two pups, and her morning coffee she would always add water to because it was somehow, curiously, too strong.
She was an avid reader, tv binger, sewer, painter, hiker, cook, and swimmer. Any way a person could enjoy their life and share their joy, she did it. Becky was particularly drawn to the peace of the outdoors and the siren song of large boulders which she was called to sit on every chance she could get.
Becky was incredibly talented. She worked her way into her dream job as Systems Administrator for the Bryant School District where she served over 20 years. She began her tenure as a substitute and bus aide at Davis Elementary. It was there she discovered her love for technology and through self study, hard work, and perseverance she made her way into a senior role in the Technology Department.
Yet for all her passions, she loved being a mom more than just about anything. While she only had one child, Jillian, she adopted many into her fold, collecting her daughters friends throughout the years, as well her precious nieces and nephews.
Becky had a remarkable talent of making anyone feel like the most important person in the world. She was a true friend, and held close a circle of companions she wouldn’t trade for anything and who walked with her through everything. Her love was unconditional and limitless in its quantity, unmatched in its quality, and exceptional in it’s ability to give without hesitation.
She leaves behind many who will mourn her and love her for the rest of their days: Husband and partner of 40 years Donald R. Browder; Daughter and confidant Jillian R. Browder; Mother and rock Linda S. (Boyer) Moore; Sister and dear friend Alisa K. Palmer and husband John David Palmer; 9 nieces and nephews: Victoria Browder, Alex White, William White, Andrew Browder, Dillon Browder, Nicole Copeland, Megan Minick, Caleb Cavanaugh, and Axel Minick; and two faithful canine companions Pickle and Spanky Browder.
Becky is preceded in death by her father, John C. White, and her younger brother John White.
Her visitation and memorial service will be held back-to-back from 1:00 - 2:30 PM, Monday June 2nd at Smith-Benton Funeral Home 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
