Rebecca Janice Caldwell

Rebecca Janice Caldwell, age 73, of Hot Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

She was born on December 31, 1949, in Mount Ida, the daughter of Roscoe Terry Potter and Rutha Ellen Qualls Potter.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Judy Booth, Ruby Yeti and Rita Godwin.

Rebecca loved working in her flower garden and enjoyed watching murder mysteries or old true crime shows on television.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Brenda Smith; her granddaughter, Korina Harris and her spouse, Kevin Harris; her great-granddaughter, Reagan; her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Michael Blees; her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Diane Potter of Plainview; several nieces, nephews, extended family member and a host of wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
