Rebecca Frazeur

Rebecca "Becca" Faye (Harris) Frazeur, 67, of Little Rock, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017. She was born Aug. 27, 1950, in Little Rock to Martha Maye (Freeman) Harris and Farris "Fritz" Harris.
She is survived by her husband of almost 38 years, Wendell "Wynn" H. (Yackley) Frazeur, and her children, Shannon Rayne Frazeur and Shaun Harris Frazeur, all of Little Rock; aunts Mary Langford of Kingsland and Faye Barnard of Vilonia; several cousins; sisters-in-law Nancy Yackley Larson (and husband, Jim) of Darwin, Minn., and Marilyn Frazeur Holmquist of Port Orange, Fla.; and her beloved Pomeranian, Martini.
Becca grew up in Little Rock and studied under revered dance instructor Joel Ruminer of Joel's House of Dance as a child and in her early teens. She attended Mitchell Elementary School, Pulaski Heights Junior High School, and graduated from Robinson High School in 1968. She attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for several years. Besides Little Rock, she also lived in Jackson, Miss., Shreveport, La., Hillsboro, Texas, and Corsicana, Texas.
Becca and Wynn married Feb. 1, 1980, in Little Rock, they met when Wynn was shoveling snow at their apartment complex, Tanglewood Apartments.
She held several careers - including that of florist, bookstore clerk, office manager, and for the last two years, as a page at the Thompson Library branch of CALS.
She was a lifelong ardent reader, animal lover, and cookbook addict. She had become well known in the last few years among her family and friends for her English muffins.
Becca's biggest focus in life of course was her children, husband, parents, and pets. She was so proud of her children, whom she homeschooled. She also cared for her mother in her house for the last two decades of Martha's life. She and her family had many pets over the decades, who were as big of a part of the family as the people. In addition to Martini, Becca leaves behind dogs Brandi and Lana Q, and cats Elsa, Bogart, and Penny.
Over the last few years, she had also helped with childcare for Catalina and Roxanna. They and their mom and stepdad, Teodora and Randy, were very close to her heart and she to theirs.
She also had many friends and co-workers whom she loved and who will greatly miss her.
Everyone who knew her will miss her great warmth, intelligence, and wit. Her loss leaves an irreparable hole.
