Rebecca Lynn Kyzer

Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Kyzer, 77 of Jacksonville, passed away April 29, 2025. She was the eighth of 13 children born to the late Rose Nell (Mashburn) and Johnny Kyzer. She was a retired driver for the Pulaski County Special School District, where she worked for 46 years. She was a Christian and will be remembered for her awesome homemade pies.

Survivors include siblings: Jimmy Kyzer (DeLolar), Elaine Scudder, Shirley Simerley, Tony Kyzer (Doris), Glenda Fletcher (Gary), Linda Heffner (Terry), Johnnie Sue Sherman (Jerry); and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved and helped raise.

Becky was preceded in death by siblings: Betty Harvey (Fred), Sonny Kyzer, Verna Joyner, (Pete) Jane Reynolds (Darrell) and David Kyzer (Pat).

Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Darrell Wayne Reynolds, Terry Lee Heffner, Ray Hardy, Jason Garrett, Roger Harvey, Steven Kyser, and Gary Joyner. Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews.
