Rebecca Ann (Rorie) Cain, affectionately known as Becky, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on September 7, 2026. Born on February 1, 1954, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Becky was the beloved daughter of Alma Louise Rorie.
Becky was, above all else, a mother. Her children Jessica and Jason were at the center of her world, and the love she had for those she called her own was unwavering. She loved ferociously and would do anything for the people fortunate enough to be in her circle. Her care for her Aunt Mary spoke volumes about the love, affection, and appreciation she had for the people she cared about most.
Becky had a special way of making people feel important, valued, and heard. Her love was strong, loyal, and generous, and it will continue to live on in the lives of those who knew her best.
Becky possessed a truly top-tier sense of humor and could bring laughter wherever she went. She loved connecting with people and preferred a good conversation over the phone rather than simply sending a text. To know Becky was to know that a phone call could quickly become a long conversation filled with laughter, stories, and genuine care—a trait her best friend Debbie lovingly admired.
Some of Becky's favorite things in the world outside of her friends and family were word word games like crosswords and Scrabble, flowers, her dog Harvey, watching tennis and home design shows—simple things that brought her immense joy.
A woman of remarkable work ethic, Becky worked for more than 40 years at AT&T before retiring in 2018. Her dedication and loyalty were evident not only in her career but in every part of her life.
Becky leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Jessica Cain; her son, Jason Cain; her brothers, Jimmie Rorie, Bobby Rorie, and Mark Rorie; her niece, Amanda Meyer; her nephews, Matt Rorie and Clint Rorie; her cousin, Brenda Plummer; her close friends, Lynelle and Mike Eisenhart; and her beloved best friend of more than 50 years, Debbie Love.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Louise Rorie; her Aunt Mary; as well as a host of cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Becky's absence will be deeply felt, but her humor, her stories, her fierce loyalty, and—most of all—her incredible capacity to love will never be forgotten. She gave so much of herself to those around her and made the people she loved feel as though they mattered. Her legacy is one of laughter, dedication, friendship, and a love that was as fierce as it was genuine.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 pm.
Becky will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
