Reg Martin Ball, 84, of Jacksonville, passed away April 12, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to Ida Daverson and William Frank Ball. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Army after 20 years of service to his country. He was a life member of VFW Post 4548.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Dee" Ball; daughters, Faye Ann Noerr (Charles) of El Paso, Texas, Phyllis Christine Sims (Wayne) of South Carolina, Regina Lynn Walker (Todd) of Jacksonville and Dolores Ann Sims (John), also of Jacksonville; sister, Maudie Magge of Mississippi; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 15 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment with full Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
