Regina Johnson, 68, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on August 31, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1956, in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late Earnest and Ethel Deckard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Clyde Smith, Donald Deckard, Donnie Carter, Patricia Reese, and Judy Clay.

Regina is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Johnson of Benton, Arkansas; her children Jason Richardson of Benton, Chaska Richardson of Little Rock, and Nicholas Wright of Benton; grandchildren Gaven Richardson, Anthony Richardson, Ansley Lucas, Lanie Wright, Alex Richardson, and Jace Wright; six great-grandchildren; and siblings David and Loventrice Deckard of Sims, Arkansas, and Brenda Beason, Reta Witham, and John Deckard of Malvern, Arkansas.

Regina was a homemaker and a caregiver to her granddaughter, Lanie Wright. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Playing rummy with her kids and spending time with her family were among her greatest joys.

A drop-in visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015.
