Reighny Chanel Roark

Reighny Chanel Roark, 19 months old, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. "Rainbow Bug Butterfly" was born to Tanner & Lexie Roark on September 16, 2021 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was a bouncing 6lbs 11oz and favored both her Momma and Daddy.

She was the biggest fan of her parents: her first word was "Momma," but "Dadda" came very quickly after. She was very advanced for a toddler, learning to use her words to communicate and even picking up on sign language. Reighny had an adventurous spirit and listened to directions well. She was exceptionally gentle with animals, loved music, dancing, and singing, and never complained. She was absolutely perfect in every way.

Her family is proud of Reighny's ultimate gift: the gift of life. Thanks to ARORA, she was a heart valve donor and could possibly save the life of 2 other children.

Left to cherish her short life are her parents; Grandparents Britt Roark of Cabot, Angela Roark of Jonesboro, Richard & Gretchen Harper of Hot Springs, and Roger Riley (Tara) of Georgia; Great-grandparents Bill & Donna Thompson of Cabot, Donna Booth of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jerry Roark of Doniphan, MO, and Sue Roark of McDougal, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Tori Roark of Cabot, Keith Harper of Cabot, Chanda Harper of Cabot, Laney Harper of Oklahoma, Kenzie and Joel Goyne of Jasper, Megan Riley of North Little Rock, Garrett Riley and Zachary Riley both of Georgia; Great-aunt and uncles Bill & Amy Thompson of North Little Rock, Andrew and Mallory Miller of North Little Rock, Marcus & Camber Thompson (Asher) of North Little Rock, and Danny & Brandy Calhoun (Dylan & Tara) of Corning; and a host of cousins and extended family and friends who will cherish Reighny's life forever.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Amazing Doctors at St. Vincent Hot Springs and Arkansas Children's, Garland County Sheriffss Department, Deputy Hunter Grubbs, Sgt. John Lane, Deputy Kevin Hampton, Deputy Grant Yarbrough, Undersheriff Jason Lawrence, Captain Scotty Dodd, Deputy Chandler Overton, Deputy Richard Garrett, Med Flight, and Angel One Med Flight. The Garners, The Colemens, The Hennessee family, Mr. Reyes, and Greg Wooten of Hot Springs. Thank you all for your help finding our little girl. Your heroism and compassion during this time will always be remembered.
