Renée Loraine Cummins

Renée Loraine Cummins, 73 years old, passed away peacefully at Magnolia Landing in Greenbrier, Arkansas on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Her cause of death was cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

Renée was born June 8th, 1952 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. She lived in Lansing and worked for the state of Michigan as a systems analyst for 15 years. She met and married her husband of 41 years, Kreg, and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1985. They have three children; Jessica Lynn (deceased), Ashleigh Renée, and Lilee Kathryn. The family moved to Conway, Arkansas in 1992.

Renée was a homemaker while raising their children, building grounds manager for Conway’s First Baptist Church, owner of a graphic design business, and a computer programmer for Acxiom, where she retired at the age of 63 years old. After retirement, what Renée enjoyed most was being “Nae Nae” to her grandchildren, Cathryn Mae and Weston Thomas.

Renée was a member of Conway’s First Baptist Church for 30 years, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and served to greet and welcome people as they entered the doors of the church.

Renée is survived by her loving husband, Kreg Cummins (Conway, AR); children; Ashleigh Douglas (daughter, Ferndale, AR) with Matthew Douglas (son-in-law, Ferndale, AR) and grandchildren, Cathryn and Weston, and Lilee Cummins (daughter, Conway, AR). She is also survived by her mother, Yvonne Dodge (mother, Jackson, MI), Michelle Ryder (sister, Olympia, WA), Karon Martin (sister-in-law, McCray, AR), and Gail Breaux (sister-in-law, McCray, AR).

Renée was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dodge; daughter, Jessica Lynn; mother-in-law, Rachel Cummins; father-in-law, Angelo Cummins; and brother-in-law, Larry Cummins.

Services will be held at Conway’s First Baptist Church, 1719 Robinson Ave., Conway, AR 72034. Visitation will occur on Thursday evening, April 23rd, 2026, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral will occur on Friday afternoon, April 24th, 2026, at 1:30pm.
