Ret. Cpt. Ronald Dale Johnson of Rose Bud, Arkansas left this life on August 21, 2024.  He was 88 years old.  He was born May 19, 1938, in Salina, Kansas to the late Olin O. Johnson and Florence Naomi Johnson.

Ronald was a retiree of the United States Air Force, receiving the Bronze Star in Vietnam.  He was also a promise keeper ambassador. As a Master Sergeant, he received a commission in 1970.  He retired on December 31, 1976, as a Captain.  Two days after his Air Force retirement, he began full-time work as a Youth Pastor.  He continued in Christian ministry as the pastor of several churches.  As a Southern Baptist pastor, he undertook the work of an Intentional Interim Pastor, working with multiple churches to resolve difficulties and restore the churches as loving, caring Christian bodies.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margot Johnson; his daughter Charlotte Sutton of Manchaca, Texas; and his son Steven Johnson of Valparaiso, Florida.

He was a loving and caring husband and father, as well as a loving and much-loved pastor and teacher.
