Retha Roberts, 76, Cabot, was born April 19, 1941 to the late Guy and Vada Duke, and died Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She married her husband, Raymond on October 8, 1960, and together they had 2 daughters, Pamela Lynn and Debra Rae.
Her and Raymond along with Jerry McNutt co-founded Roberts-McNutt Inc. in 1968. She retired after 33 years. During this time she traveled with various organizations to Paris, New York, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Barbados, Mexico and many other places. Her favorite was the National Association of Women in Construction, where she served as the Little Rock chapter Vice President in 1980.
Retha was active in the Red Hat Society and enjoyed several years of fun with friends until Alzheimer's became apparent. Retha was a loving and compassionate lady that loved unconditionally and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond; her daughter, Pam Roberts Smith (Alfie); two granddaughters, Amanda and Ally Smith; brother Jerry Duke, three sisters; Linda Dannenmueller, Carolyn Pepper and Nelda Fowler; eight nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews, four great-great nieces and nephews; her beloved weenie dog, Debbie; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; daughter, Debra Rae Roberts; and nephews, Alex Odom and Michael Odom.
