Rhonda Lea Clark, 64, of Sherwood, Arkansas, gained her Heavenly reward on August 21, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1961 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where she spent most of her childhood.
First and foremost, Rhonda was a devoted child of God, full of the Holy Ghost, and baptized in the precious Name of Jesus Christ. She was a faithful and loving saint of the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and lived her life for the Kingdom of God.
She was a mighty prayer warrior spending countless nights in travail and many days fasting for her children and loved ones. Her life was marked by unwavering faith and sacrificial love. She went without so that her family never would, always giving her very best to provide not only what was needed but often what was wanted.
She cherished her family and siblings, loving every memory made together. Her greatest earthly treasures were her children and grandchildren. She loved them fiercely and lived for every moment she could spend with them. She had a special way of making each grandchild feel like they were her favorite. Her limitless love was that BIG and genuine.
Rhonda was the epitome of selflessness— always forgiving, merciful, and never giving up on anyone. She loved like no other, and gave everything for the Kingdom of God. Jesus was always number one in her life, and her childlike faith was unwavering.
Creative beyond measure, she could make something from nothing. A gifted storyteller, poet, game-maker, and songwriter, her imagination knew no bounds. The Lord often gave her songs in the night—over a hundred in her lifetime—that she joyfully sang to His glory.
For 33 years, Rhonda worked faithfully at the United States Postal Service, serving with an unmatched work ethic and integrity. She always did any task as unto the Lord. Her beautiful example of integrity, diligence, and devotion will live on in all who knew her.
Her musical laughter, tender heart, and steadfast spirit will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, prayer, and unconditional love that will echo for generations.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Hope (Rogers) Billingsley; father, John Earnestine Billingsley, Sr.; brother, Samuel Arthur Hendrix; and granddaughter, Kahlyn Crowe. She is survived by her five children: two daughters, Samantha Bishop (Michael) and Alicia Herndon (Jimmy); three sons Joseph Clark, Nathaniel Clark (Sabrina), and Billie Clark; her siblings, Bonnie Lynn Enfinger, Diane Miller, Rita Billingsley, Paul Billingsley, and John Billingsley, Jr.; her grandchildren: Luke Carter, Chloe Carter, Brooklyn (Bishop) Franco (Javier), Rylee Bailey, Caleb Herndon, Matthew Clark, Emmalyn Clark, Titus Bishop, Madelynn Crowe, Brooklynn Crowe, Matthew Herndon (Jamie), Stephanie Herndon; and great-grandchildren: Ada Herndon, Evy Herndon, Ezra Herndon along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She will be greatly missed, but our hearts are comforted in knowing she is in the arms of the Lord Jesus.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday 8/27/25 followed by funeral service at 11:00 A.M at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, AR. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
