Rhonda Jean Montgomery

Rhonda Jean Montgomery, age 73, of Pearcy, passed away on January 2, 2026. She was born March 14, 1952, to John Herman and Ina Mildred Smith.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Jane Smith; and brothers, Jerry Lynn Smith, Don Louie Smith and John Lyndell Smith.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ray Montgomery, to whom she married March 16, 1970; sons, Charles (Chuck) and Rosane Montgomery, and Jimmy Montgomery; daughters, Cymantha Montgomery, Karie and Nathan Kelley, and Mary and Jonathan McQuaig; grandchildren, Kayla, Charles III (Chas), Tayler, Tyler, Trinity, Bryce, Karter, Kollen, Aspyn, Ethan, Ayden, Alaya, Tanner, Carson, Taite, and Paisley; brothers, Eddie and Debra Smith, Stephen and Jill Smith, and Karl Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Rhonda was a strong anointed Christian and encourager. Her passion was studying His Word, praying, and sharing Christ with others. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she genuinely cared for and served others. She deeply loved family, especially her grandbabies! She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, fishing, and camping.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Smith Family Funeral Home-Hot Springs.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Mt. Tabor Church in Glenwood. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
