Richard Dayne Burleson, 61, of Southaven, Mississippi passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born November 20, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Claude E. and Essie Sallis Burleson. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Hester Burleson; son, Jason Burleson, both of Southaven, Mississippi; daughter, Jaime Burleson, of Memphis; two grandchildren, Robbie and KaitLynn; four brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Centennial, Colorado 80112.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
