Richard Hale Clark, age 83, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on December 29, 2025, surrounded by love. He was born on August 24, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Eugene Clark and Juanita Hale.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 46 loving years of marriage with his wife, Judy Clark, whom he married in 1979. Together they built a life rooted in dedication, adventure, and deep family bonds.

A proud mechanical engineer in the industrial field, Richard was known for his strong work ethic, business-minded approach, and problem-solving nature. He earned his bachelor’s degree and carried his knowledge and precision throughout his career.

Richard had a passion for travel, especially trips to Rome, and greatly enjoyed camping and motor home adventures. Above all, he loved people and valued time spent with family, friends, and his extended church family at Park Hill Baptist Church of NLR.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Clark; his son, Jeffery “Todd” Clark of Little Rock; his sister, Jeannie (Irv) Clubine of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren David Hunter Simmons of Thayer, Missouri; Great-Grandson Zane Connor Simmons of Thayer, Missouri; sister-in-law Patti Hayes of Cabot; brother-in-law Gary L. Cox of Cabot; dear friends John (Rhonda) Zajac and family; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom he deeply cared for.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Howell Clark; and his daughter, Sheri Simmons.

Richard will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
