Richard Lynn Herndon, 51, passed away on March 22, 2009. He was born February 6, 1958 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George and Clara Herndon, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He formerly resided in Florida.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy Herndon and Ricky Herndon of Florida and C.J. Herndon of Benton; father, George Herndon of Sheridan; mother, Clara Hill Herndon of Bauxite; brothers, Charles Herndon (Sheila) of Benton, Cliff Herndon (Cathy) of Bauxite, George Herndon of Little Rock and Michael Herndon (Laura) of Benton; sisters, Theresa Curtis (Randy) of Haskell and Pat Means (Bob) of Little Rock; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Herndon and a brother, Stanley Herndon.
Services will be held at Rose Hill Church of the Nazarene, 11001 Kanis Rd., Little Rock on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Steve Comeans.
