Richard "Butch" Sorrells

Richard "Butch" Sorrells, age 64, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

He was born on August 24, 1961, in Camden. He was the son of Clifford Wayne Sorrells and Katie Ellen Smith Williams. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Wayne Sorrells, and his stepfather, Maurice Williams. 

He is survived by his mother, Katie Williams of Glenwood; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Jackie Sorrells of Glenwood and Charles and Sharon Sorrells of Mayflower; his aunt, Audrey Lambert of Glenwood; his special nieces and nephews, Tammie, Josh (Ann), Amanda (Shane), and Jessica (Harrison); his special friend, Margie Jones and her family; and a host of wonderful family and friends.

Butch will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home-Glenwood.
