Richard King Walls, 79, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away October 23, 2017. He was born January 8, 1938 in Tyler, Texas to the late King and Christine Rogers Walls.
Richard was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and a huge Razorback fan.
Preceding Richard in death are his parents; son, Richard King Walls, Jr.; and daughter, Claire Ohlsen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Denee Walls of Hot Springs; son, Joe Walls and wife Jodee of Sardis, Arkansas; two daughters: Paige Yates and husband Robert of Benton, Arkansas and Jennifer Knoedl and life partner Hardy Winburn of Little Rock; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who love Richard and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM, Friday, October 27, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton. Graveside service, officiated by Dr. Rick Grant, will follow at 1:00 PM at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Tee of Arkansas, 1 First Tee Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
