Rick Ward

Richard "Rick" Allen Ward, age 70, of Conway, Arkansas passed away November 5. 2025. He was born August 29, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio, to Richard and Donna Ward.

Rick spend 37 years at Dassault Falcon Jet as an engineering manager and loved his job. He was a proud member of AA for many years. Rick also loved yard work and building things at home; that was the engineer in him. He could fix anything. When he wasn't working or building something, you could find him swimming. He was an avid swimmer at Hendrix College.

Rick enjoyed traveling the world, especially with his wife and daughter. Together, they visited 49 out of 50 states, leaving Oregon unvisited.

He was a great dad to his stepdaughter, Andrea, and a wonderful husband of 45 years to Karin. Rick is also survived by two sisters, Sheri Forness, Susan Smith; one brother, David Ward and a host of many nephews and extended family members. Additionally, he is survived by his Parakeet, Peterle, who only liked him for cleaning her cage.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law in Germany, and his brother, Mike Ward.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Salem United Methodist Church, 1018 Salem Road, Conway, Arkansas 72034. Family an friends are invited to attend a reception following the service.
