Ricky Lynn Diemer

Ricky Lynn Diemer, 75, of Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1949, in Little Rock.

Ricky worked as an operator at Alcoa for 33 years and retired at age 50. He was a hard worker who took pride in providing for his family.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. At home, he was known simply as "Poppy," always ready with a good-natured prank or a quick laugh. Family meant everything to him.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Barbara Diemer; his children, Michael (Stephanie) Diemer, Erich Diemer, and Katie Diemer Riedy (Gavin); his grandchildren, Blaine Diemer and Trinity Diemer; great-grandson, Ethan Riedy; as well as many other close family and friends.

He was a simple man who loved his family, worked hard, and didn’t ask for much. He’ll be missed by all who knew and loved him.
