Ricky Green, age 69 of Hot Springs, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed away on May 11, 2014.
He was born on October 18, 1944 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late William "Dub" Thomas Green and Mary Rosalea Fish Green.
Ricky was a Professional Bass fisherman; he was a member of the Bass Angler Sportsman Society (BASS) and in 2005 was inducted into the Bass Fisherman Hall of Fame and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs.
Ricky is predeceased by his parents; his first wife Bettye Green and step granddaughter Gabyle Moss.
He is survived by his wife Karen Cunningham Green; sons Ricky (Sherry) Green JR. of Gurdon, Keith (Tami) Green of Arkadelphia and five grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Heidi, McKinley and Madi, two great grandchildren, Marleigh and Boston, also one sister Marilyn (Jack) Coy of Hot Springs.
Other survivors include his step children, Gay (Swan B.III) Moss of Texarkana, Texas, Chris (Nicole) Cunningham of Charlotte, North Carolina and step grandchildren, Burrus, Rivers, Caroline and Schafer.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Houston, Tom Mahoney, Ronnie Smith, Johnny Hoy, W.A. "Dub" Wingfield and Jack Coy.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 15th, at First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Mike Mattox officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00P.M. at DeLamar Cemetery in Manning Arkansas. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
