Rita Sue Adcock

Rita Sue Adcock, age 60, of Delight, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 8, 1960, in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of Dewey Alton Adcock and Betty Sue Gilmer Adcock. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Mark Aaron.

Rita was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who cherished her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach and had a love for all animals.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and David Bass of Delight; her son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Lindsey Henderson of Delight; her four adoring grandchildren, Dakota Henderson, Brooklyn Henderson, Aden Henderson and Kyndall Henderson; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Lottie Beaty of Roy, Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Rita's name to a local animal shelter of your choice.
