Robert Bare

Robert Olin Bare, born January 12, 1940 in Ravenswood, West Virginia to Charles Frederick and Ilah Mae Bare (both deceased) departed this life on February 9, 2019.  Robert was predeceased by a son, Keith Alan Bare, three brothers and four sisters.  Robert was a U. S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran and had retired from Pulaski County after many years of employment.

Left to cherish his memory is wife of 58 years, Velma Bare; daughters, Barbara Bare Hubbard, Debra Bare Osborne, Holly Warren, Joy Windmann and Janice Fulford; daughter-in-law Shelia Lee; Ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother and a sister.

We would like to say thank-you to the Veterans Administration, especially his VA Home Based Primary Care Team.  You gave him the best care possible and we could not have asked for more.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in Roberts Honor.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening, February 13, from 6:00-8:00 p.m at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:30 a.m. February 14, at the funeral home with burial following in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
