Listen to Obituary

Robert Wayne Bennett, 76, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and well-known real estate appraiser. Born on April 27, 1949, in Alexandria, Louisiana, Robert's life was marked by his unwavering integrity and dedication to both his family and his profession.

Robert was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He also served as a Deacon for many years at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church and Markham Street Baptist Church.

For fifty years, Robert served as a state-certified residential real estate appraiser, during which he built a distinguished career running his own business, Robert W. Bennett Real Estate Appraiser. He appraised thousands of homes throughout the state of Arkansas, earning a reputation as one of the leading real estate appraisers in the industry. His expertise and knowledge were highly regarded, and he left a lasting impact on the real estate community.

Robert pursued his education at Louisiana Tech University, where he laid the groundwork for his impressive career path. He was also a proud veteran, having spent four years in the Army National Guard.

Despite his professional accomplishments, those who knew Robert would say that his greatest joy was his family. He was a quiet, reserved man who consistently put his loved ones before himself. He cherished every moment spent with his wife of 55 years, Linda Bennett, and took immense pride in his son, Jason Bennett, and daughter-in-law, Alicen. Robert's legacy will live on through his beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Ryan, and Lilly Grace, who were truly the light of his life.

Robert will also be remembered fondly by his sister-in-law, Peggy Bennett, and brother-in-law, Larry Launius, along with his spouse, LuAnn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whose lives he touched with his kindness and support.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gussie Bennett, and his brother, Richard Bennett. Robert's quiet strength and deep sense of integrity shaped not only his professional life but also the relationships he fostered throughout his years. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
