Robert ?Buddy? Brown, 96, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years and loved his family. He is going to be an asset to Heaven and never complained or met someone he didn?t like.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandi and her husband, Troy Wilkins, of Maumelle; daughter-in-law, Linda Brown, of Sherwood; two granddaughters, Kimberli and her husband, Dawayne Murdock, of Ft. Smith and Amber and her husband, Jeff Haymes, of Maumelle; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie Haymes, Joel Murdock and Micah Murdock; and brother, Reginal Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Vestal Brown; son, Ronald M. Brown; brother, Richmond Brown and two sisters, Muriel Rankin and Beatrice Timothy.
Memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
