Robert Carter

Robert W. Carter "Grumpy", 64, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. He was born February 7, 1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to the late Bill and Lillian Carter. He enjoyed fishing, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Judy Herron (Jamie), Joni Sheeley (Jonathan), Paula Lee (Ron Price), Sheri Trimis and Sandy Sanders; seventeen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Tally (Mildred); numerous nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Rowena Mullinax and her family; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claire Jeannette Carter; one sister and six brothers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice for their loving care.
A visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 2, 2017 at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
