Robert Earl Chastain

Robert Earl Chastain, age 75, of Paron, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was born on December 6, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Roy and Maxine Chastain.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was honest, reliable, funny, and worked hard nearly every day of his life. Robert enjoyed watching westerns, going to flea markets, “piddling in the yard”, “tinkering with this and that”, exploring, off-roading, and collecting anything he thought may come in handy someday.

He was only a call away to anyone that needed him. Robert loved his family dearly and will be missed beyond words.

Robert is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Mary Francis “Fran” Chastain; his children, Shon (Brandi) Chastain and Jessica Chastain; his bonus children, Nathan (Leanna) Floyd, Terri Floyd, and Nikki (Jake) Ford; his grandchildren, Taylor Chastain, Courtney Chastain, Bella Nelson, Rebecca Causey, Robert “Logan” Causey, Gavyn Causey, Peyton Causey, Tyler Floyd, Jonah Floyd, Wesley Floyd, Bishop Floyd, Bostyn Ford, and Ellisyn Ford; his devoted sister and best friend, Pat Taylor; nephew, David Chastain; and nieces Kristina Wagner, Angela Dillard, Amber Tarpley, and their families, who he also loved as his own.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Roy Chastain, Maxine Rowan, and bonus father, Chuck Rowan.
