Robert Eugene Conrad, 82 of Sherwood, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2009. He was born on December 9, 1926, to the late Erwin and Dora Conrad. He grew up in Stuttgart, AR; and was a member of the Merchant Marines during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his twin brother Richard.
He is survived by his daughter,Gay Conrad Inmon and her husband, Kelly; two grandchildren, Melanie Lucas (Brian) and Angela Dodge; four great-grandchildren, Timothy, Ashley, and Justin Lucas, and Jacob Dodge, all of Sherwood.
Cremation arrangements by Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood. Memorial Service will be held at Levy Baptist Church on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Tiner officiating.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of ICU and 3C at Baptist Health Springhill in North Little Rock, and a very special thank you to his doctors Mark Rens, John Hayes, Tom Meziere, and B. Douglas Stokes.
