Robert Owen Dial, 86, of Little Rock passed away Friday, April 12, 2024. Born July 26, 1937, in Bryan, Texas, the son of Odell and Helen Dial. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, Texas. After high school, he enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. In 1964 he earned a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M. He went on to work for Olin Chemical and retired as a Purchasing Agent after 29 years.

Robert loved people. He always made deep connections throughout his life because he was genuinely interested in their day-to-day lives. He mastered the art of patio sitting with family and friends, truly appreciating the company and embracing the time together. He had a special knack for making
everyone feel welcome, and his porch was a gathering place for laughter and stories.

A true artisan at heart, Robert was a gifted woodworker and artist. His meticulous craftsmanship brought beauty to everything he touched, and the stunning works of art that captured the essence of nature's beauty. His creativity knew no bounds, and his creations will continue to inspire awe and
admiration for generations to come.

Among his many passions, Robert had a particular fondness for classic, antique cars. He marveled at their timeless elegance. His eyes would light up with excitement as he shared his knowledge and passion for these automotive treasures with fellow enthusiasts.

Above all else, Robert cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose love knew no bounds. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his wisdom and guidance will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father (Robert), mother (Helen) and great grandson (Hoyt Adams).

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean; his daughter, Tammy Ross; his son, Robert Dial (Charlotte); four grandchildren: Blake Ross(Carlie), Brock Dial, Amber Adams and Alex Robbins(Dylan); and six great-grandchildren: Grayson Ross, Madalyn Ross, Laiken Ross, Jaxton Robbins, Jett Robbins, and Josie Adams.
