Robert Coy Garrett, age 75 of Antoine died Sunday November 22, 2009. He was the son of Eugene Allen Garrett and Ottie Sarah Mitchell Newton, born February 12, 1934 in Antoine, Arkansas. He was a retired Logger, a Mason and Shriner, and a member of the Antoine Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Garrett of Antoine, a daughter Debbie and husband Greg Wahl of Antoine, two brothers, John A Garrett of Pearcy and Tom Garrett of Lonsdale, three sisters, Betty Rhodes of Delight, Sammie Crawford of Hot Springs, and Linda McCall of Benton, two grandchildren, Lindsey and husband Matt Henderson of Delight and Alyson Wahl of Arkadelphia and one great-grandson Aden Henderson of Delight
Graveside services are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 24, 2009 at Antoine Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Finney officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers are Matt Henderson, Greg Wahl, Greg Funderburk, Mick Vitzthum, Lonny VanCamp, and Kevin Price.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Hospice at 5600 West 12th St. Little Rock, AR. 72204.
