Robert "Bob" Hightower age 83, of Sparkman, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born in Prairie Grove, AR June 27, 1931 the son of Robert W. and Cora Collins Hightower. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife Geneva Hightower, one son, Bobby Lanham of Sparkman, one daughter, Pat Holloway and her husband John of Sparkman, one sister, Helen Nichols of New York, three grandchildren, Jonanna Jackson, Jason Holloway, and Bonnie Sorrells and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday with Jerry Holland officiating, December 27th at Chapel Hill Cemetery near Sparkman.
